Unix Mailing Lists

The USSG maintains several mailing lists dedicated to different aspects of our service schema. Official USSG e-mails are now signed with the USSG gpg key which can be found at http://ussg.iu.edu/ussg.asc (key id 0x87328DEB fingerprint A483 994F B3BC 27B8 C24A 9A2C D381 7557 8732 8DEB)

Our announce only lists are available for users to receive important information concerning USSG and UUG events:
  • ussg-info-l@listserv.indiana.edu for USSG general announcements such as changes to our website, ftp server, or other services we provide that are not web-based.
  • uug-info-l@listserv.indiana.edu for UUG related announcements such as upcoming UUG events, changes, or cancellations.

We also maintain three email lists for interested Linux and Sun SysAdmins to meet, greet, and share information:

  • ussg-sun-admin-l@listserv.indiana.edu for Sun SysAdmins.
  • ussg-linux-admin-l@listserv.indiana.edu for Linux SysAdmins.
  • ussg-rhel-admin-l@listserv.indiana.edu for Red Hat Enterprise Linux oriented discussions and announcements.
